Starring Megan Fox. Shia LeBouf and the rest of the crew might also have been in it, but I must have missed them. Directed by Michael Bay, whose films are hard to miss because the explosions show up in outer space.
The Autobots are teamed up with our government, running around the globe hunting down Decepticon scum. After yet another crunch fest, government officials are beginning to get skeptical about who, exactly, needs protecting.
Other side of the globe... The Witwicky’s are sending young Sam (ok, maybe LeBouf was in it a little) off to college where he’s got to wave off Bumblebee for a while. Family drama. Megan Fox bends over a motorcycle.
Other side of the globe... Megatron gets resurrected.
Other side of the globe... Sam gets chased around by Decepticons. Megan Fox bends over some rubble. And the beat goes on.
Everything boils down to this: there’s more. Of everything. It’s longer. There’s more family drama. There’s more Fox. There’s more violence. There is WAY more violence. I checked out a few times waiting for the next plot point, and the end is just tiring -- it's 30 minutes of nonstop Bay-splosions. Fun movie, there’s a whole lot of it.
